USB Light Curtain for the Bedroom

Ceiling lights in a bedroom rarely provide the kind of light you want in the evening: too bright, too high, and right in your eyes when you’re lying in bed. A light curtain behind or above the bed does the opposite - creating a soft wall of light at and below eye level that makes the wall glow instead of flooding the room. This curtain runs on USB, so you can plug it into an adapter, a power bank, or even the USB port on a bedside lamp; there’s no need for an outlet behind the bed. With eight lighting modes, you can choose between a steady glow for a relaxing evening and moving effects for a party.

Why it works in a bedroom

• Light on the wall, not in your eyes: The strands hang vertically along the wall and provide indirect light behind the bed.
• Eight lighting modes: From a steady glow at bedtime to moving effects when you have guests over.
• USB powered: No outlet behind the bed required; an adapter or power bank will do.
• Choose the right size for your wall: From 3x1 meter for above a window frame to 6x3 meters for an entire wall.
• Six colors: Warm white, white, pink, blue, purple, and multicolor to match your room.
• Low voltage: 5V DC, CE and RoHS certified, so it’s safe to leave on overnight.

Hang it above or behind the bed

The most relaxing setup is to hang the curtain on the wall directly behind the headboard, with the top edge at about two meters high. For a 160 cm-wide double bed, a 3-meter-wide curtain covers the full width, with a little extra on either side; the 3x2-meter version hangs to about bed height, while the 3x3-meter version reaches the floor. Hang the strands from small adhesive hooks or a tension rail along the ceiling, so they sit away from the wall and the light has room to spread. The same setup works in a child’s or teenager’s bedroom, as well as along a window, over a clothes rail, or as a party backdrop.
