Bedroom Wall Lamp Above Bed Brass with Fabric Shade 25 cm Dimmable E12 Hardwired 1 or 2 Lights | Sansoti

Wall lamp for the bedroom, above or beside the bed

A bedside table fills up quickly: a book, a glass of water, a phone — and then there’s still a lamp to fit on it. This wall lamp above the bed moves the light off your bedside table and onto the wall, at exactly the right height for reading. The metal arm supports a fabric shade that softens the light, so you can read without waking your partner beside you. The lamp is dimmable, so you can turn it down to a warm glow when you’re almost asleep. At 25 cm with one light and 40 cm with two lights, it remains a compact wall lamp — about three times the width of a light switch.

Why this lamp works in the bedroom

• Keeps your bedside table clear: The light is mounted on the wall, leaving room for your book, glasses and phone.
• Dimmable to a soft glow: Compatible with a dimmer, so you can switch from reading light to a gentle glow for falling asleep without getting up.
• Soft fabric shade: The fabric shade filters the light and prevents a harsh beam from shining into your eyes while you read in bed.
• Compact size: 25 cm with one light or 40 cm with two lights, making it suitable for a narrow wall beside the bed too.
• Hardwired: Sturdily and permanently mounted on 110-240V, with no cord hanging down beside your bed.
• Twelve shade colors: Pleated or smooth in white, red, green, dusty blue, sage green or mustard yellow, with an antique bronze, brushed brass or chrome finish.

One lamp or a pair on either side of the bed

Most bedrooms look best with two: one on each side of the bed, at the same height, so you can both read independently. One lamp with a single light is enough above a single bed or in a guest room. The 40 cm version with two lights is designed for wider walls or above the headboard, where one fixture needs to light the entire bed. Since the lamp is hardwired, it’s best to have it installed when the room is already being renovated — the result is a clean wall with no visible cord and a bedroom with just the right light in the evening. The E12 socket lets you choose the color temperature.
