Equestrian Advent Calendar, 24 Compartments, with Foldable Fabric Bag, Leather Strap, Elastic Bands, Keychains | Sansoti

Equestrian advent calendar with 24 compartments full of accessories

An equestrian advent calendar is only as good as what’s inside its 24 compartments. Alongside grooming tools, this calendar contains all the little things that always seem to go missing at the stable: braiding elastics, horse-themed keychains, a miniature leather strap and various equestrian accessories. The best find is usually hidden behind one of the last doors: a foldable fabric bag that you can use to carry things to the pasture or a competition. The calendar comes in black and light blue and is about the size of a large book.

What’s inside, compartment by compartment

• 24 numbered compartments: One for each day from December 1 through 24.
• Foldable fabric bag: Folds down small and is handy for carrying things to the pasture or a competition.
• Mini leather strap: A small equestrian accessory with a practical use at the stable.
• Elastics: For braiding manes - the kind of thing you can never have enough of.
• Horse-themed keychains: For the stable door or trailer, or to pass on as a small gift.
• Grooming tools: It also includes a wooden brush, sponge, rubber curry comb and grooming cloth.

Keep it or give it as a gift

The calendar is designed for both horse and rider, so it works just as well as a gift as it does for opening yourself. If you’re giving it away, it’s good to know that the contents are mostly practical - not a collection of trinkets, but things that belong in the grooming box and on the halter. That also makes it a good choice for someone who has just got their own horse or pony, or for a riding-school rider with their own grooming box at the stable. The two colors, black and light blue, have the same contents, so the choice comes down to which one looks better on the shelf in the tack room.
