Acrylic Moon Table Lamp, 20 x 17 cm, with Winter Village Landscape, Integrated LED, USB or Battery Powered, Lightweight at 250 Grams | Sansoti

Acrylic instead of glass or plastic

The material determines the entire effect of this type of lamp. Acrylic conducts light along its edges and cut-out lines, making an engraved landscape glow without any visible bulb. Opaque plastic cannot achieve this effect, and acrylic weighs much less than glass: this 20 × 17 cm moon lamp weighs just 250 grams. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb socket you will ever need to replace, and it is powered via USB or battery.

Specifications at a glance

• Acrylic material: clear and light-conducting, allowing the cut-out houses and landscape to glow.
• Dimensions 20 × 17 cm: tabletop size, about as tall as the width of a closed laptop.
• Weight 250 grams: light enough to move with one hand, and no risk to a narrow shelf.
• Integrated LED: no separate light source, no socket, no replacement.
• USB or battery power: use USB on a desk, or a battery in a spot without an outlet.
• Clean with a dry cloth: acrylic can get scratched if wiped wet with abrasive particles, so wiping it dry is the right method.

On a desk or side table

USB power is easiest on a desk, where you already have a free port or charger. Position the lamp just outside your direct line of sight, for example beside your screen rather than behind it, so it creates a cozy atmosphere without shining in the corner of your eye. At 20 cm tall, it reaches about the top of a closed laptop, so it takes up one corner of your desk rather than half the table. Keep acrylic away from direct heat sources and wipe it dry; at 250 grams, it stands firmly but is also easy to pick up when you want to wipe down the table.
