Bathroom Shelf with Suction Cups, No Drilling

In a bathroom, drilling is the most annoying job of all: you hit a pipe, crack a tile, or get stuck with the spot you chose long ago. This bathroom shelf with suction cups doesn’t require any of those decisions. The powerful suction cups adhere to smooth tiles, glass, and metal, so you can press the shelf into place wherever it’s convenient today and move it tomorrow if that works better. The frame is stainless steel - water-resistant and corrosion-resistant, so it can withstand the constant humidity of a shower. At 30, 40, or 50 cm long, the shelf spans about two to three standard 15 cm wall tiles.

Made for a Wet Space

• Stainless steel: Water-resistant and corrosion-resistant, so it won’t rust in the steam of a daily shower.
• No drilling: No holes in your tiles and no risk of hitting a pipe behind the wall.
• Raised edges: Keep shampoo and soap bottles in place, even on a wet shelf.
• Easy to move: Move it to another smooth wall if you rearrange the bathroom.
• Three lengths: 30, 40, or 50 cm, to suit the space next to or inside the shower.
• Open design: Water drains away instead of pooling on the shelf.

Where Suction Cups Do and Don’t Hold in a Bathroom

Suction cups need a smooth, non-porous surface. They work on smooth wall tiles, glass shower screens, and metal; they won’t create a vacuum on matte or textured tiles, over grout lines, or on painted plaster. So place the shelf in the middle of a tile, not across a grout line, and clean and degrease the surface first - soap residue is the most common reason a suction cup comes loose in a bathroom. Choose the length to suit the available space: 30 cm fits in a shower corner, while 50 cm makes use of an empty wall above the sink. The same shelf can also be used in the kitchen or on a worktop, anywhere the surface is smooth enough.
