Foldable Wooden Coat Rack, 31.5 x 27 cm, Hooks Fold Flat Against the Wall, Wall-Mounted, Black or White, Instructions Included | Sansoti

Hooks that fold completely flat against the wall

Many “folding” coat racks only close halfway and still stick out by a few centimeters. With this wooden coat rack, the hooks fold completely flat against the panel, so when it’s not in use, all that remains on the wall is a flat surface measuring 31.5 × 27 cm. This makes it suitable for areas you need to walk through or where a door swings open against it. It is made of wood, comes in black or white, and includes mounting hardware and instructions.

Specifications at a glance

• Dimensions 31.5 × 27 cm: exact outer measurements, so you can mark the wall before ordering.
• Fully folding hooks: when closed, only a flat panel remains, with no protruding points.
• Wood material: solid rather than plastic, so the hooks stay sturdy under the weight of a coat.
• Wall-mounted: no stand or base, so the floor remains completely clear.
• Two colors: black or white, both matte and neutral.
• Contents: coat rack, mounting hardware and instructions: complete in one box, with no need to buy separate screws.

Where folding hooks make a difference

The benefit of folding hooks is in places where fixed hooks simply won’t work: behind a door that opens all the way to the wall, in a passageway less than a meter wide, next to a stair railing, or in a guest room where the coat rack is only used a few times a year. In those spots, an ordinary coat rack gets in the way every day for something you only need occasionally. Mount the panel at shoulder height and check the wall type to choose the right fixings; at 27 cm high and 31.5 cm wide, the panel requires little space and can also be fitted on a narrow section of wall between two door frames.
