Wedge Cushion for the Sofa, with Back Support and a Side Pocket

A sofa is made for sinking into, not sitting upright. That's pleasant for half an hour, but uncomfortable if you spend an entire evening reading or working: your lower back gets no support, and your neck has to compensate. This wedge cushion for the sofa fills that exact gap. Its triangular shape helps straighten your pelvis and supports your back and neck at a fixed angle, so you can sit upright without having to use your muscles to hold the position. There’s a side pocket where you can keep your phone or reading glasses—in easy reach and safely on the sofa.

What the wedge shape does

• Ergonomic wedge shape: The sloping side follows the natural curve of your spine and maintains its shape during use.
• Back and neck support: Supports your lower back and keeps your neck in a neutral position, so your shoulders don’t slump forward.
• Pressure relief: Distributes pressure when sitting for long periods instead of concentrating it in one spot.
• Side pocket: Keeps your phone, reading glasses, or a small notebook close at hand.
• Soft, breathable fabric: Doesn’t retain heat during a long evening on the sofa.
• Five colors: Choose from anthracite, yellow, brown, light gray, and purple to match your sofa fabric.

In the Corner of the Sofa or Against the Backrest

On a straight sofa, place the cushion with the higher side against the backrest, so the slope faces you and gently raises your upper body. In the corner of a sectional sofa, it works a little differently: position the wedge at an angle in the corner, so it supports you from the side while you sit with your legs drawn up—the position most people end up in when watching TV. Because the cushion is lightweight, you can easily move it to an armchair, office chair, or bed. If you find that sitting on the sofa after a long workday feels more tiring than relaxing, you’ll notice the difference in just one evening.
