Horse Grooming Advent Calendar with 24 Stable-Friendly Compartments

A stable visit in December is usually the coldest part of the day — and the most fun when there’s something to open every morning. This horse grooming advent calendar fills 24 compartments with items you’ll actually use in your grooming box: a wooden brush, a sponge, a rubber curry comb and a grooming cloth, along with small riding accessories. Nothing that gets forgotten in a drawer after December 25, but tools that will still be in your grooming kit in January. The calendar comes in a tabletop-sized box, about as wide as three grooming brushes side by side, and is available in black and light blue.

What’s Behind the 24 Compartments

• Wooden brush: A full-size grooming brush that stays in your grooming box long after December.
• Rubber curry comb: For loosening mud and loose hair before brushing.
• Sponge and grooming cloth: For wet grooming and adding the finishing shine before you saddle up.
• Riding accessories: A mini leather strap, elastic bands and horse-themed keychains.
• Foldable fabric bag: Handy for carrying your grooming supplies to the pasture or a competition.
• Two colors: Black or light blue, both with the same contents.

For the Grooming Box, Not the Trash

The difference between this calendar and a box of candy is that the contents last. The grooming items are regular, practical, full-size tools, so if you start brushing in December, you’ll have a complete grooming kit by spring. That also makes the calendar a great gift for someone who’s just starting to ride or getting their own horse: it contains the basics, spread across 24 days. For those who’ve been riding for years, the duplicates are handy as spares or for the trailer. Put the calendar on a shelf in the tack room or take it home — either works.
