Illuminated Christmas Window Decoration, Acrylic Moon with Winter Village, 20 x 17 cm, LED, USB or Battery Powered, 250 Grams | Sansoti

A bright spot on the windowsill, without a candle or the hassle of a power outlet

From November onward, it gets dark at five, and the windowsill is where you notice it first. Leaving a candle burning there isn’t a good idea with curtains nearby. This illuminated acrylic seasonal decoration is made for exactly that: a moon shape measuring 20 × 17 cm, featuring a winter village scene, with integrated LED lighting and power via USB or battery. Weighing just 250 grams, it sits securely on a narrow windowsill and is easy to move to the sideboard.

Why it works on a windowsill

• No open flame: LED light instead of a candle, so you can leave it out with curtains beside it.
• Size: 20 × 17 cm: about as tall as two mugs, so it’s large enough to see from the street yet small enough for a narrow windowsill.
• Just 250 grams: lightweight and easy to move between the windowsill, sideboard, and dining table.
• USB or battery power: with batteries, you won’t need a cord running along the window; with USB, you’ll never need to replace batteries.
• Acrylic with a cut-out landscape: the material guides light along its edges, illuminating the little houses and landscape.
• Care with a dry cloth: no cleaning products needed; a wipe with a dry cloth is enough.

How to get the best effect

Acrylic decorations with cut-out lines work by light traveling through the material from the edges, so they stand out most in a dark setting. Place it on the windowsill facing into the room if you want to enjoy it yourself, or facing outward to decorate the window for passersby. A spot without another light right beside it offers the best contrast. At 20 cm tall and weighing 250 grams, it doesn’t need a deep windowsill; just bear in mind that the cable will be visible with the USB version, so choose battery power if your window is far from an outlet.
